This blog is founded from a BC nationalist perspective. It looks at BC as a nation bound up and suffocating in the skin of a province. The Cold Eye will highlight and discuss issues facing us as we stand now in provincehood. Some of these issues are pressing now and need to be publicized and debated in a free forum. The Cold Eye aspires to be that forum for all British Columbians, while at the same time advancing public discussion about independence.

Finally, The Cold Eye functions as an alternate news source for British Columbians about British Columbians and the issues that affect us all.
